5 FMBE industry awards for Fizz & WDS!
2022 has certainly turned out to be the year for awards. We started back in January with a hatrick of gongs at the (Covid delayed) 2021 Field Marketing and Brand Experience Awards (FMBE), and a little over two weeks ago added another 5 at the 2022 event – this time taking two Golds, a Silver and two Bronze awards for our work inside and outside the walls of Costco. We’ll take that!
The FMBE awards are the highest recognition for agencies operating at the pinnacle of the field and live brand experience marketing industry. Judged by a carefully selected panel of experts, winning brings confirmation that our operations are the best in the business.
Our best awards haul to date
Fizz took the top spot and Gold in the hotly contested Brand Ambassador of the Year category thanks to the outstanding performance of colleague Yvonne Hankins from the WDS Milton Keynes team. The award underlines our belief that people are the single most important element in delivering outstanding experiences to consumers on behalf of our clients. It’s why invest so much time and effort in our people to ensure they are the best in the business! A second Gold came in the Most Effective Small Scale Campaign for our work with Asian food brand Ajinomoto in specialist retailer Longdan – proof that award winning, impactful campaigns don’t have to be big.
Next came a Silver award in the Most Effective Retail Sales Experience category for our work with Aspire Drinks in Costco. Tracking performance across 15 months of activity, the judges were impressed with the campaign’s success at converting tastings to sales and contributing to the brand’s longevity with the retailer.
A Bronze was awarded in the Most Effective Tactical Campaign category for activity for plant based brand Shicken and its meat-free chicken substitute that was “as good as the real thing”. We had brilliant fun working alongside a Gordon Ramsay lookalike while delivering a 474% uplift on sales! You can read all about it here.
And finally, we were delighted to be recognised in the prestigious Brand Experience Agency of the Year category with a second Bronze award. We were shortlisted here as a result of having received commendation or better from the judges in more than one relevant category and for more than one brand. Needless to say, we are all proud as punch to be recognised and rewarded in this way.
Speaking after the event, CEO Dave Curtis said: “We are delighted to continue our success from earlier this year with a record 5 industry awards in recognition of our work.
