What are the FMBE Awards?

The Field Marketing & Brand Experience (FMBE) Awards are the big celebration of everything that makes our industry so exciting — from field marketing and live brand experiences to those unforgettable in-store moments that connect people with products.

Run by Frank Publishing Ltd through the Field Marketing & Brand Experience platform, the awards bring together agencies, brands, and activation specialists to celebrate the very best campaigns out there.

But it’s not just about collecting shiny trophies (though we do love a bit of sparkle!). The FMBEs are all about championing creativity, inspiring fresh ideas, and showing the power of great brand experiences. The judging panel includes not just industry peers but also clients and brand representatives — which means the recognition really counts.

With categories covering everything from team achievements and standout display design to immersive events and digital innovation, the FMBEs truly celebrate the full spectrum of what makes field and experiential marketing so impactful.

Why the FMBE Awards Are Important

The Fizz Track Record

As a business in the field and experiential industry, the FMBE awards are a big thing for us at Fizz. We’ve attended every year since the awards began, either as finalists or to support others in the industry as they receive their awards. And we’ve made some amazing connections over the years, as well as shared our over 30 years of knowledge.

In our time at the awards, Fizz have also been there as a finalist. We’ve won over 18 awards in the last 10 years, and many of those were at the FMBE awards. For example, in 2023 we won:

Gold in the ‘Evolving Brand Relationship’ category for our 30 years of working with Costco.

Silver in the ‘People Powered – Event’ category for our Fragrance Roadshow.

Bronze in the ‘Team of the Year’ for the amazing work the WDS team does on the Costco account.

And in 2024, we won:

Silver in the ‘Team of the Year’ for our work with Costco

Bronze in the ‘Most Effective Retail Experience’ for our work with Lindt.

Why does all of that matter Well, for starters, it shows brands that the campaigns we can deliver aren’t just operationally sound, but they’ve been judged as the top-tier in creativity, execution and results. It’s also a great reassurance – for brands looking for a sampling partner, seeing ‘FMBE award winner’ next to our name is a big confidence boost. Plus, it sets us apart from the competition! And it goes without saying that our team get a big boost of energy and enthusiasm for such amazing recognition.

For us, the FMBE Awards are about more than trophies (though we’re thrilled to have a few on our shelf!).
