Meet the team…
Introducing the people you’re likely to meet when we work together.
A team in the true sense of the word, these are the guys and gals you’ll be meeting as we embark on a project together. These are the account handlers, the campaign managers, the thinkers, the inspirers, the reporters and the roll their sleeves up and doers. They work relentlessly to secure a successful outcome for every client and ensure that their skill, knowledge and enthusiasm filters down through every level of our organisation to our teams of demonstrators, mystery shoppers and samplers.
Even though his application for the local fire brigade – at age five – didn’t get the response he’d hoped for, it didn’t put Dave off pursuing his dreams of rescuing people. Fast forward forty-five years, and having spent the majority of his career in programme, project and change management – the last few as our Managing Director – rescuing people has merged to bringing a new lease of life to companies and brands.
As a client-focused Managing Director, Dave is passionate about helping brands to engage with their consumers. As a result, Fizz has built a strong reputation for listening to our clients’ needs to ensure that we find the right solution first time. Dave’s ethos is to recognise and motivate the talent in his team so that they are proud to work for Fizz and go the extra mile for our clients.
So whilst he’s not qualified to rescue moggy from a tree, he can help with rescuing your brand in the crowded seas of consumer conversation.
She communicates. She obsesses over detail. She juggles. She cares… So we think it’s fair to say Arlene’s role as an Account Manager for one of the UK’s largest wholesalers, Costco, is a perfect fit.
A natural-born problem solver and carer of people, Arlene began her career as a paediatric nurse. Soon realising she couldn’t make everyone better – but feeling empowered to help people – Arlene shifted focus to where solving problems IS the role. Arlene loves dealing with people. Her energy, enthusiasm and passion resonates with the brands that she works with and she always goes the extra mile to ensure our clients receive the utmost service from point of contact to delivery.
It’s a trait that transitions into her personal life where experiencing travel, getting outdoors with her dogs and organising her son’s ever-expanding social calendar means she’s never too far from the octopus juggle of account management.
“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.” – Fred DeVito. Being a firm believer of this, Kezia is the first to jump in the deep end (or out of a plane for that matter).
While most people trail off down a completely different path after university (assuming Harvard referencing hasn’t tipped them over the edge), after obtaining her degree in Event Management, Kezia continued down the same path by becoming a Party Coordinator at the largest leisure complex of its kind in the UK and then Demonstration Coordinator here at Fizz, coordinating and managing over 70,000 events in stores each year with continued growth.
After accidentally catching the travel bug a couple of times in between, Kezia has managed to overcome this contagious but wonderful disease, turning the work mode back on and putting her skills to good use for Fizz.
Business Development Manager
Joannes’s CV is like a Panini sticker book, collecting Field Marketing roles at numerous agencies; securing and developing million pound accounts for GSK, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer and L’Oreal. Her current role as Business Development Manager at Fizz is where she divides her time between sales & developing key accounts.
Amongst this hive of productivity, Joanne also found time to host a charity ball that raised over £12,000 for Macmillan Cancer support; ran (most of) Brighton half Marathon and somehow found time to bring up two beautiful daughters.
With this level of drive and enthusiasm (and the odd glass of Prosecco), Joanne is a girl that most certainly can!
Mark ensures that the Business Relations and Event Management team at Fizz Experience deliver in-store events with both passion and precision.
He has a charismatic and light-hearted personality, combined with a diligence, a vast knowledge of processes, logistics, numerics and spreadsheets.
Loyal by nature, Mark has not only worked for Fizz Experience since 2005, he’s also a lifelong Arsenal fan, and a regular gym go-er.
“Your customer doesn’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care”… Luckily my 17 years retail experience and dedication to build relationships go hand in hand!
Since joining Fizz Experience 12 years ago, I have successfully executed virtually every type of field marketing activity you can imagine: merchandising, promotional drives, product launches and mystery shopping, to name a few. Further to this I love working with our field staff, as they’re the face of Fizz, and always make time to encourage their achievements so that they feel valued in the big picture of a campaign.
I pride myself on always going above and beyond to ensure those I work with get the best possible service: keeping everyone in the loop, managing priorities and providing excellent attention to detail. I’m also financially accountable for both ROI for clients and company margins.
When I’m not in the office there’s nothing I like more than spending time with family and friends, and getting Fizzical (see what I did there?!) in the swimming pool!
Lucy certainly knows a thing or two about food and how to attract the interest of consumers…She has a degree in nutrition and her previous experience involved working within the marketing department of a food software company!
Clearly perfectly suited to her role as Demonstration Coordinator, Lucy’s main responsibility is ensuring the smooth running of our demonstration program. This includes regular contact with her clients and working with the rest of the team to maximise the efficiency of the department.
When she’s not Fizzing, Lucy loves festivals, the theatre, shopping, travelling and keeping fit! The rest of us are in training, just to keep up!
Chloe is a likeable and vital member of the Fizz team with excellent interpersonal skills who can be relied upon to take a proactive approach to any challenge. Needless to say, our clients love her too!
Chloe is a conscientious, mature and personable individual with extremely strong organisational skills. With over eight years of administrative experience, Chloe’s well suited to the role of Demonstration Coordinator for our largest client. A good communicator who is well-organised, a good planner, and a good time-keeper, her competitive nature drives the desire to motivate herself to always complete the task at hand.
Andy understands the importance of a good first impression and ensuring everything we deliver on behalf of our clients lives up to that expectation and is just right. Having worked in marketing (*coughs*) for over 20 years, Andy works closely with our clients and campaign managers to help devise and deliver sampling, demonstration and staffing services that build our clients’ brands and grow their sales.
With an unhealthy attention to detail (which our clients love and his colleagues probably tolerate) no stone is left unturned in delivering work to the best of his ability.
Andy loves design and is unfathomably impressed by a beautiful typeface. When not creating for clients, you’ll likely find him wearing trail shoes, running gear and heading for the horizon; he tells us it clears the head and has been known to foster a good idea or two.
Join the team.
We’re always on the lookout for passionate, exciting and reliable people who would like to join the Fizz team and help us represent our clients’ products and services as part of our national field marketing and experiential teams.
We’re looking for individuals who are welcoming, interesting and talented in equal measure. If you think you fit the bill – we’d like to hear from you.
